Biography

  • My name is Luke Marshall. I’m 22, and a MVCC graduate in Graphic Design and Photography. I have made many things, from animations, shooting light drawings, designing my own business card, and capturing the comforting yet uncanny feelings of the abstract concept in liminal spaces among many other projects. I went to college because I believe I’m a creative person, I always wanted to create and build things that make others wonder. Stories in my head yet to see the light of day, drawing of wild machines that I’ve been making since I was 5, and crafts to turn trash into treasure among other hair-brained ventures. I decided to pursue graphic design or as I call it, “being an artist that actually gets paid.” After a while, I decided to also get a second major in photography as a backup plan. After all, I have another saying, “being a photographer is like being a plumber, everyone will need you at some point in their lives.” Photography is a powerful medium, one-shot, literally to make or break. I hope I made it.
